A SMART START TO BODYPUMP
Getting started does not mean knocking yourself out on day one, or even month one. If you ease your way into exercise, you are much more likely to stick with it over the long haul.
PACE YOURSELF
Trying anything new can be pretty intimidating. The key to success is to start slowly and be in control. For your first session just do the first four tracks and build out from there.
GET REGULAR BEFORE YOU GET INTENSE
It’s far more important to get into the habit of exercising before you start pushing yourself. The instructors will offer intensity options so you can go slow and work up to a level you
are comfortable with. As you feel comfortable – up your level.
THE REAL REWARDS
You will make gains as soon as you get active. Higher energy levels feel more positive and the high of endorphins are all immediate post-workout rewards. These short term benefits are important to focus on as you strive for your long term goals. Workout 2 – 3 times a week over 4 – 6 weeks and you will see the transformation.
BALANCE YOUR ROUTINE
BODYPUMP™ gives you a wonderful all-body workout but you need to mix things up. Adding additional cardio, core and flexibility classes to your weekly routine will give you the perfect combination. Include healthy food and good sleep, and you’ll have an all-around fitter you.

BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to our total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A fabulous LES MILLS™ instructor will pump out some energising tunes and lead you through this whole-body workout. It will challenge your limits in a good way, leaving you with a sense achievement. Be ready to keep coming back for more. One of the best things about BODYATTACK™ is it improves your functional fitness – that’s the fitness that you need for everyday life.

Just getting started? You can adjust a BODYATTACK™ workout to your current fitness level by taking the low impact options and building up from 4 or 5 tracks to a full class.

The benefits of BODYATTACK™ include functional fitness to feel stronger in everyday life, tone and shape your body, and improve your coordination and agility.
